Facebook does it again with Custom Audience Ads

Facebook has shown that their initiative on targeting custom audiences increases click through conversion rates and costs per lead.  Despite the issues surrounding personal data protection, custom audience ads allow digital marketers to target Facebook users based on their personal data including email, phone numbers, and user IDs.  This has allowed ecommerce companies to target a custom or narrower audience for whom the particular ads may really matter.  This has lowered advertising costs for these companies by targeting a specific audience, and has allowed messages to ge constructed in a more personal manner.

Facebook has hit gold again by being able to charge digital advertisers for targeting a specific group of relevant customers, providing advertisers the capability to customize specific marketing messages or products to a customer with similar past purchases, and ensuring that advertisers yield a high ROI.  I have yet to experience this on my Facebook real estate, but I wouldn't be surprised to wake up one day and see an ad that attracts my attention based on my purchase habits or personal interests.
