Going Wallet-less

Imagine going an entire month without your wallet. That’s what Wired Magazine asked one of their reporters to do while she led her daily life in San Francisco and even vacationed in Hawaii – all without her wallet. There are obvious challenges to it:
1)   How do you prove your identity without your driver’s license? Particularly, when you are thirsty and want to get a beer or get past TSA at the airport.
2)   Not all merchants accept mobile payments – so you better like the limited food choices. It’s almost like being vegetarian at a steak house.
3)   And, the technology is not always reliable.

However, there is an upside to this.. shorter lines because buying things will become so much faster and having to carry very little around with you.
