Live TV, internet apps and cloud based DVR all in one little
“boxee”. The internet TV firm Boxee
recently announced that it is launching a new device that will incorporate all
of the above and cost consumers only $99.00 in addition to a $14.99 monthly
subscription fee.
The service will give consumers the ability to dvr their
favorite network shows and access to all of the movies Netflix, Vudu, and
Youtube have to offer. It seems that
technology is merging with traditional free TV in another offering to entice consumers
to cut the cord to basic cable and satellite TV.
