Moving to Mobile

The article that I am writing about is from the financial times that could be accessed here.

It start with the fact that the facebook user base has reached over a billion users. This number is very astounding. Living in  world of consisting of almost 7 billion people, this number is amazing. However as the number increases the rate of acquisition starts to decrease. and this has been almost gone to a saturation level in north america, meaning that the channel they were using for earnings might have no better results. The suggestion here is to moving towards other channels for increasing the earnings, i.e. mobile.
Also the rate of buying the smart phones is really growing faster than PCs, so moving to designing features for small screens definitely worth it. Penetration rates are increasing in some other countries. so we can expect for the next flood of consumers to benefit from this small devices for reaching to facebook.
So it seems that investing on these devices means a lot to the company for again growing the margins.
