Why I love NY and how blogs made Sandy bearable.

This post on eater is a wonderful example of the resilience of my hometown. It seemed like the entire city decided to collectively escape our electricity starved abodes in restaurants and pubs. Eater was kind enough to make a definitive list of all the places one could go to get their grub/drink on across the entire city.

While there are other sites that created more important life saving info, I am always intrigued by NY's ability to just keep on trucking no matter the circumstance. So here's to NY and to eater lighting the way to a warm meal.
